Along the Copper Coast

The reason it is called the Copper coast, Copper coming off the cliffs!

This month we went sketch adventuring along the Copper Coast, which is a UNESCO Geopark along the south of Waterford. The reason why its called the Copper coast? Its because the sea cliffs have Copper coming off them!

Info: A free sketching group mostly based in Munster & Leinster, whom meet up once a month to do sketch trips around Ireland. We generally do 2 kinds of events:

1:) Sketch Adventuring- where we head off on foot or drive around in cars, and go sketch exploring somewhere.

2:) Sketch Activities- where we try out various activities and see if we can combine them with sketching, often with fun results. In the past this has lead us to combine sketching with; camping, sailing, caving, and cycling. The basic rule is; if you can sketch while doing it, we will!

If you like drawing, painting or photography, and are anything from hobbyist to a professional, or just a person looking to get back into it, join us once, sometimes twice, a month for fun filled adventures as we explore Ireland one sketch at a time.
