January Sceitse- Ancient Sketching

We kick off the new year by going sketch adventuring in a little stretch of rolling hills south of the River Lee, in a place known as Coppeen. This area in the back of beyonds is chuck o' block with archaeology and history; from ringforts to stone circles, from megalithic tombs to early ecclesiastical remains, from rock art to Beal na mBláith(death place of Michael Collins), this place has something for all the family!

We will be meeting at 9 am in Kent Train station in Cork city on Sunday the 2nd of February, please email subedei7@gmail.com to book a place on the trip. After that we will head west for a day of relaxed driving, stopping now and again to sketch whatever tweaks our fancy on the day.
