We spent 6 hours exploring Loch Derg on the Shannon on the 1st of June, boating around and sketching as we went, as well as stopping at Inis Cealtra for an hour of blistering sun and sketching, and a docking in MountShannon for our traditional Sceitse pint. More photos here:

Info: A free sketching group mostly based in Munster & Leinster, whom meet up once a month to do sketch trips around Ireland. We generally do 2 kinds of events:

1:) Sketch Adventuring- where we head off on foot or drive around in cars, and go sketch exploring somewhere.

2:) Sketch Activities- where we try out various activities and see if we can combine them with sketching, often with fun results. In the past this has lead us to combine sketching with; camping, sailing, caving, and cycling. The basic rule is; if you can sketch while doing it, we will!

If you like drawing, painting or photography, and are anything from hobbyist to a professional, or just a person looking to get back into it, join us once, sometimes twice, a month for fun filled adventures as we explore Ireland one sketch at a time.
