Fota Mini Sceitse

We started at Fota Folly

Inside Fota Folly

Then into Fota Wildlife

The new tigers in Fota!

The Sceitsers

And finished up in the nearby

On Tuesday we went to Fota Island in Cork harbour. Starting off in a 19th century Folly in the old gardens of the manor house, then moving onto wonder around sketching the animals at fota and finishing up with a visit to the nearby Belvelly castle which guards the ford from Fota island to Great Island in Cork harbour. Info: A free sketching group mostly based in Munster & Leinster, whom meet up once a month to do sketch trips around Ireland. We generally do 2 kinds of events:

1:) Sketch Adventuring- where we head off on foot or drive around in cars, and go sketch exploring somewhere.

2:) Sketch Activities- where we try out various activities and see if we can combine them with sketching, often with fun results. In the past this has lead us to combine sketching with; camping, sailing, caving, and cycling. The basic rule is; if you can sketch while doing it, we will!
